Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The kids were at the crib, while I was strapped in with one of them to my back. Ha! All was beginning to fall in place, yet there was still a long way to go. The home would require an enormous amount of work and an enthusiasm to shop. To stay within my budget I took my kids along to search for treasures in estate sales. The weekly ritual was that we would go through estate sales and garage sales on Thursdays and Saturdays and purchase a variety of new and old pieces. My next task was to spend working on my projects on our front lawn. My passion for restoration of furniture began when I saw a style that was similar to this. When our house was decorated, I couldn't quit! I had a space in the market at my local location and even sold some items there. It was possible to expand the market because I had numerous pieces I was able to use. My home was where I would host open houses, where over 1,000 people were able to come in and buy any item they liked on the 1st floor over the course of a weekend. Growing Days was created in this house. As my business flourished as did our family. The balance between work and family was crucial to me. I wanted to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days seemed like the perfect combination. My beautiful Nora came into the world in 2013, which was our 4th child. While I was pleased with the direction my business was taking, I realized that I was in need of an occasional break. I took a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and I slowed down my speed to be at home to help my children. That was exactly what I needed at that moment. After a few months when the phones began to be ringing. They asked for my help in interior decoration and renovations. It was mostly those that came to my residence to buy furniture. It didn't seem long until I was managing a full-scale home renovation company. I began by taking clients in a manner that I felt at ease with. Most likely, I would have been laughing if somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be part of a forthcoming tv program on DIY Network. Even now, when I reflect on the situation, I find myself laughing.
