Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around in the playpen as I was working 12-hour shifts cleaning the floors, and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! It was all starting to come together but we weren't anywhere near finished. In order to furnish the house, it was going to be an enormous undertaking both in both time and funds. Also, I had go to my favorite stores. To keep the budget in check, I began going to estate sales along with my three boys searching for diamonds in the rough. Our routine for the week was to spend Thursday-Saturday walking through estate sales and garage sales buying a mixture of vintage and modern pieces, while I spent the weekdays painting sanding in the driveway. It was a bit like it... This was where my passion for restoring furniture began. I kept on restoring furniture long after we furnished our house. There was a place at the local markets in which I sold my items. Then, my collection got to the point that the space I had available was not enough. Open houses were held at my house where 1 000 visitors would pass through over a weekend, and the visitors were able to purchase items on the ground level. Growing Days is the result of this. Apart from my successful business, I also grew our family. It was essential to find the right balance to me. I wanted to be a mom as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days just seemed to fit. My precious Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our 4th child. The direction of my business was excellent, however I needed to rest for a while. I made the decision to take some breaks from my old furniture and remain at home with the children. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time. After a few months that my phone began to be ringing. I was getting calls from people needing help with their interior decorating and home renovations. Most of them were people who came into my residence in my open houses for furniture. Once I had a few months I began to take on customers at my pace. Soon I had multiple accounts, as well as a house renovations business. If you'd told me that my company would become an idea for the DIY Network show, I would probably have laughed. In fact, I laugh a little when I remember the episode.
