April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, began taking guitar and piano lessons at age seven. She was interested in writing songs was ignited. When April was 12, she composed her first single, Different. At the age of 14, April was devoted for a long period of time in creating song concepts and practicing the music she was playing. In the following months, April started taking trips in NY and LA along with her dad in order for them both write songs. April also began to include additional topics that were related to of her classmates who struggle in the area of social pressure and teens who commit suicide through the songs"Take my Hand. Lockhart is a popular figure and works as an online lifestyle blogger for the popular Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. She was born without a left hand, and it makes her unique. But this isn't the only characteristic of her. The account on Instagram of Lockhart doesn't deny her handicap. But it also doesn't make it a point to emphasize the issue. It's a reminder. It's this that we all share numerous identities. We're much far more complicated than we believe we are. Lockhart talks via video in Nashville. "I do not intend to let it define my life. I don't want to only be recognized as an expert in disabilities. However, it doesn't affect my everyday living. I still do all the things I normally would and have adjusted to my disabilities. This is also part of me, and I believe it should be discussed. Lockhart is a true source of inspiration for self-acceptance in general she is on a long process to attain the goal. She admits that she has gone through phases of insecurity with her physique and being uncomfortable wearing some clothing types that exposed her arms. She wears whatever she wants and posts photos of herself dressed in outfits she picks out on social media. Self-love she said is a process. "I don't think you will ever be there," she said. It's a fact that I see with everyone with whatever their insecurity is. It is important to have people in your life who know and understand the way you feel.
